I fear that Maine is going to be California Prop 8 all over again. The tired argument of "Your small children will learn about gay marriage in pre school!" is working once again. Never mind the measure has NOTHING about public education in it. And never mind the irony of a predominantly Christian base lying to get what they want. Homosexuality may be an abomination, but "Thy shall not bear false witness" is a freakin' Commandment, people.
